Walkies!

Far Bridge
Alongside The Main Road
Just for a change I thought I'd share my morning dog walk with you  - in pictures. I thought it might make a change from just blogging about my Treadmill Torture! I usually walk my girls around the estate where I live, which is a typical UK housing estate - a combination of social housing and private housing, a few shops here and there , a couple of pubs, a few green spaces. About 5 minutes walk from my house is Hartsholme Country Park      You can find out about the park by clicking the link. It's a lovely place - how lucky am I to have such a beautiful place to walk right here on my doorstep?
Bridge Through The Grass
These are my pictures - taken in the park recently. The quality isn't great as they were taken using my Blackberry phone - but it's an easy and convenient way to keep track of my walking stats (Using Endomondo) and take pictures at the same time!

Bridge And The Boathouse
Our walk starts pretty early in the morning - usually around 5.30am Sometimes earlier. Sometimes later. We don't always end up going to the park - but it makes for a prettier blog page!    By heading down there so early we avoid the crowds - which is always a good thing!   No kids running around screaming and yelling. No dogs barking (except mine) No planes flying overhead (we live fairly close to a couple of RAF bases - so noise from aeroplanes is just part of the daily hubbub!  We just hear the sounds of nature and see things that most people miss.  One thing I've never seen in the park though, is a deer!  I've seen plenty of them just over the road but never in the park....
