I've had a bit of an idle week this week as far as exercise goes. I've done the usual dog walking - but my old dog seems to have struggled this week. Probably because it's been rather warm and humid even early in the morning so we've not walked as long as we usually do.
I did Bridge to 10k Week 5 Day 3 on Monday. My foot held out amazingly well and I've been really keen to get on with the final week but I've held back. I really don't want to end up hurting my foot again before the Race For Life on Saturday. So far I've raised £526 if everyone pays up - hopefully I'll get a few more quid before I do the run - or maybe a few quid after I've done my run when I show people my blisters and go for the sympathy vote!
Tomorrow (Friday 8th July - 24 hours before the race) I will be attaching my ribbons to my tu-tu (they're just held on with paper clips at the moment) and I'll be sorting out my wings, getting my gear together - it's almost time!
