I've done a whole week of Freeway 2:10k and I have to say - it's not suiting me! Dropping down to doing 2 minutes walking 4 minutes jogging just seemed like a good idea at the time however, it's been feeling like a huge step back after running for over 40 minutes during graduation week on c25k. I persevered for the first week but I have to say that I'd rather be running than arsing around so I've jumped ship and kissed goodbye to the 9 week long f2:10k!
My friend Janet is doing a 6 week program called Bridge 2:10k - this jumps right in with longer running intervals and is a whole 3 weeks shorter than the program I was doing. I do feel that I've wasted a week, however, moving on to the different program has the added bonus that I'm back to running along side my virtual running buddy again - so it's not all bad.
Monday will see me doing Week 1 Day 1 (feels like groundhog day!)
