C25K - Week 6

I'm a bit annoyed - somehow I managed to loose this weeks blog post - including my weekly round up table - I've  no clue how as it was saved and was work in progress - it just disappeared! (ok I know it didn't - I know I must have done something to delete it - but goodness knows what!)

Anyway, this will be short and sweet as I'm having to re-do the posting!

The good news is - I've finished C25K - Week 6 -however, the bad news is -  the final workout almost killed me! That'll teach me to drink too much and have a restless night! In my defence my latest ink stopped me from sleeping properly as every time I turned over during the night I woke up as it was rather uncomfortable.

This week I've added a few extra pages (which can be found on the right hand side of this main page) I've added my C25K Workout Stats for each week so I can compare how I'm doing week by week and I've also added some links to Endomondo which should show my stats, routes etc for my walks with my dogs.   

Tomorrow I will be doing Week 7 Day 1 - which I think is a repeat of Week 6 Day 3 (5 minute warm up walk, 25 minute jog, 5 minute cool down walk)   I can't say that I'm particularly looking forward to it and I'm just hoping that I struggled so much with W6D3 because of lack of sleep and rather too many beers the night before.   I was sort of feeling that I would actually manage to do this run 3 miles thing -  W6D3 has knocked my confidence a little.   I think I may just slow down the jogging section again for day 1 - just to give my confidence a boost... we shall see.

I would not normally admit to being hung over - but I felt bloody awful when I started my run on that day but if I'm due to run it then I run it regardless - I WILL NOT BE PUT OFF FOR ANY REASON. Not only did I drink a little too much beer but coupled with lack of sleep - oohh I felt soooo carp! Just done week 7 day 1 - same workout as week 6 day 3 - and managed it ok this time - HURRAH!

Loving your blog Netty. I like the table showing your stats, might have to copy your idea when I figure out how to add a table. Keep up the good work and good luck with the rest of the C25K. I'll keep checking in.
